Highlights of Swann-Con 2025

Thank you so much to all who attended Swann-Con 2025! We are so glad you were there.
It was a joy to celebrate our Swann School owners, etiquette professionals, and supporters.
The conference included an incredible lineup of speakers, workshops, and special gatherings.
Swann-Con Day 1
On Thursday, January 16, we welcomed attendees with gift bags and lanyards, and attendees had fun at the photo booth.
We also welcomed our VIPs with the VIP Welcome reception and Allen Curacao Tequila Tasting.
Swann-Con Day 2
On Friday, January 17th, we hosted workshops, panelists, speakers, the Tea Party, and Pajama Party.
Led by moderator Michelle Paige, our panelists included: Nikesha Tannehill Tyson, Dree Berry, Lynette Lealwalcott, Karryl Durr, and Terry Bryant. The topic was, “Success Refined: Leadership Stories From Etiquette Pros”.
The speakers for the day included two exceptional etiquette professionals, Jules Hirst and MaryAnne Parker.
Ms. Hirst spoke on the topic, “Your Network is Your Superpower: Strategies for Meaningful Connections”.
Ms. Parker spoke on the topic, “When Cultures Do Not Collide: Interacting Effectively Across Cultures”.
Swann-Con Day 2: The Tea Party
A highlight of the afternoon was the Tea Party, hosted by Elaine Swann and comprised of an incredible smorgasbord of tea, appetizers, and good company.
Swann-Con Day 2: The Pajama Party
The day concluded with the Pajama Party held in the VIP suite and included games, conversation cards, and hot cocoa.
Swann-Con Day 3
On Saturday, January 18th, starting with speaker session I.
The first speaker was Amanda Hennessey, and followed by Sharyna Scott and Pamela Di Donato.
Amanda Hennessey spoke on the topic, “You Are Not An Imposter: Use your mindset and body language to feel confident and ready to be seen and heard.”
Sharyna Scott spoke on the topic, “Securing Tomorrow: Essentials of Protecting Your Assets and Business Legacy”.
Pamela Di Donato spoke on the topic, “Business Taxes for Professionals”.
Vendor booths were present and attendees were able to shop.
A special photographer session was held by The Gorham Agency where etiquette professionals could get professional headshots taken for marketing and professional web sites.
Swann-Con Day 3: The Awards Gala
We culminated the final event with our Gala where we honored this year’s winners and our fellow etiquette professionals and supporters.
A highlight of the evening was our special honorees Lisane Bisquiat and John D. Sanders recipients of the Betty J. Lee Heart & Impact Award and the John D. Sanders Visionary Award.
